The 30v will go in but is slightly wider, down pipes will need to be fabricated etc
The 30v is a great engine, decated with good exhaust ot will push out well over 200bhp. |

No not rare, 16v harder to find.
8v felt by some to be tad underpowered, bit my 1.8 80q can hold its own and does 40+ mpg on daily motorway commute. plenty of 8v on ebay. |

Hi Gripper....long time...
Have you checked the lambada probe? from what i remember, the 2.8 12v at best would only return 32mpg? |

yes, but sometimes they leak....this is my most recent project and on inspection it was leaking through the windscreen - not seen that before on an 80.

8v will give good mpg, lower insurance and cheaper parts
16v should give between 35 and 40mpg if driven sensibly...but with 16v to play with wouldnt bet on driving it sensibly. |
