STOLEN: White UR quattro from London- please help

During the early hours of Friday morning 11th December 2009 my much loved Audi Quattro Turbo 20v in Pearl white with FULL grey leather was stolen off the driveway of a house in East London.

The car is one of the last of the 20v's registered in 1991, the last 6 digits of the chassis no. is 000175. It did have cherished number plates on the car TAD 6.
The wheels are standard Ronal 8j x 15 in Pearl white with nearly new Toyo R888's fitted. It has a David Sutton Motorsport Ltd decal in the rear window. The front screen has two small chips (repaired) in the centre and has a Porsche GB decal in the centre of the front screen behind the rear view mirror. The interior trim is in very good order with rare FULL light grey leather seats. Any information regarding the car would be very much appreciated and will be very well rewarded.

UK Alloy Wheel refurbishers required for an advertising contra deal and free pub

Do you own/ manage/ work for a company that can repair alloy wheels to an excellent (show) standard?
If so, contact the website owner (audioc) via email: andy.bowskill AT audiclub.co.uk if you are interested in an advertising "contra deal" regarding a set of alloy wheels with slight buckling (pot hole damage).
We'll even do an article here on the front page of the process, and follow it up in the forums

Petition to reduce Fuel Duty now VAT has increased

When VAT was temporarily reduced to 15%, the Chancellor added 2% duty to fuel to offset the reduction in tax collected from motorists.
Now that VAT has been increased to 17.5% again this hidden tax has not been removed - hence recent rises in your fuel costs.
Sign the petition at the link below to have this stealth tax... removed!

Please pass this on to your friends - the more the merrier. Happy motoring!

Details:

The Ministry of Justice plan to implement a new costs recovery system from October 2009. Under new rules any defendant acquitted of an offence in the Magistrates' Court will only be reimbursed at prevailing legal aid rates regardless of the level of costs they paid to their lawyers.
This proposed rule change will undoubtedly mean that many defendants will accept wrongful prosecutions for commercial reasons. The Association of Motor Offence Lawyers (of which I am President) see thousands of convictions each year in the Magistrates' Court that should never occur due to misunderstanding of technical points concerning motoring legislation. If a defendant wishes to clear their name, they often have to take their case to the Crown Court. This can be an expensive process for which legal aid is unavailable which many will not embark upon with the knowledge that even when they win their appeal, they will lose the majority of the legal fees they spend in the process.

The costs savings the government are seeing to make could be made by examining and improving other ineffective processes within the court system. It is not fair to pass yet another expense onto the public.

Timo Scheider makes DTM history for Audi

Timo Scheider and Audi did it: Last year’s winner successfully defended his DTM title in the 2009 season in the A4 DTM. This makes Audi the first brand to have won the title for the third consecutive time in the history of the DTM that has been held since 1984.
