Not been on here for a while but then I've been busy with my Land Rovers. Picked up a 1993 1.6 saloon on ebay for £100, very clean inside and out, 106k miles and tmiing belt done 4k ago. Movign it tomorrow then hopefully work out why it wont start! Will be asking questions soon.

Is it just me or is there a massive influx of spam posts?

car collected this afternoon, ignition switch is at fault and found somones previous attempt to go straight to the starter with a jumper wire. Ignition on and wire against the battery she fires and runs then cuts out after a coupld of seconds.
Fuel pump is running with a bit of help on the relay end, new one ordered and a new ign switch. Need to delve into the wiring digrams at some point too.

Apparently the cold start temp probe can cause issues?
