Well, I have spent all Saturday in the garage trying to make the engine bay look respectable. It was all oily due to the Aux rad being removed, so first thing was to replace that.

I set to the engine bay with the degreaser and a selection of brushes, so I could get into all the nooks and crannys. I rinsed it all off after it had soaked with a standard slow running hose pipe. I have been screwed before using pressured water Rolling Eyes . With it being nice and sunny here yesterday, I dried what I could with a microfibre cloth and left it to air dry.

After it had dried, I removed all the bits I need to prep before using Very High Temp paint. I have used metalic anthracite (which drieds matt) for the rocker cover and coil pack cover and aluminium for the intake manifold. This was all put back together and I am happy with the new 'looked after' look Cool Laughing

I have taken a photo but it doesn't show the metalic that well.

Cheers guys, I am still not sure about the pipe. I think it needs to be the black plastic one, or chromed. The colour looks poo at the mo.

I also have been looking for some alloys that are different from the norm but still OE. I had a good look around and ended up with something better than I was expecting. I landed on a set of S6+ Alloys Shock

They are not on yet as I need to sort out some spacers and take off the 255 width tyres. I have photoshopped them on to give a gist. I love them and hope they look as good when they are on
