Well back from Hong Kong and jet lagged to hell but I got to take the coupe for its first proper run today ..even with the WGFV disconnected and running a 1.9bar WG ..it was good at putting a smile on my face..no slipping for the power it had ..so well chuffed just need to roll on 500miles then I can run full power |

Update:
Were to start..Have done about 200miles and in that time have had a few teething is issues
Water pump started to leak on me so had another one kicking about so swapped it over only to find that the bearing on that water pump was goosed after 10miles ..grinding it is!!!...so not pleased as this will have to come off all over again...the hex bolt on top of the PS pump has started to seep slightly so that will have to get done easy job but just something else if you know what I mean
On a good note the car is ....RAPID!!!!!!!!!!!...very scary to be honest ..just gradually working my way through the gears..sound is deafening on full boost (no need for radio) |

I have a a tool for tightening that cross headed plug Steve. Can get some proper torque on it then.
I'll remember to stick it in the car for next weekend |

Thanks for the comments alot time and effort but worth it ...I am lucky to have garage background so got a little bit of head start there
Another update
Well after the snapped bolt saga ended up cutting chassis leg and opened up then replaced org nut welded in place then rebuilt chassis leg back up (did take pics as lost the will to live at this point )...So changed the subframe over , control arms . stiffened the diff mounts up..Car is getting MOT retest today so will get some pics up later
Lowering it this weekend hopefully
And thinking about Matt black paint after seeing this and the car is just shear awesome, i soiled myself just watching it .. !!

Looks like it's RWD???
Power is nothing without control (says he with a 1.6 ) |

was guna say its all to cock that thing. a car with half the power and rwd would own it in a straight line and probably round the corners! over kill methinks. he cant get the power down, looks like a giggle though.
i agree, power is nothing without control and/or responsibility says the guy with a 2.0 8v |
