Pretty bullet proof. However make sure it's run on the correct oil. And check the rear diff seals as they can go

5/40 PD oil I used to put in mine every 8k

Don't be tight. Oil is cheaper then a engine.

Having bought "Pebbles" off Gareth I changed the oil and filter at 235k....

I went to scotland to take part in tough mudder and to have a holiday.
On the way up I was doing 55mph in a 60 ...

Auto boxes are shit for mpg. Can loose upto 5mpg

Also depends how it's geared.

I had no exhaust(cats then nothing) at the time so sounded amazing. Had double hearing protection and still got a headache for 2days after.

If you go ahead and replace it make sure feed and return lines are cleaned at least or replaced. Make sure you prime the turbo with kit supplied and get the vanes clipp ...

OEM discs and pads with dot 5.1 race fluid.
Put a couple of litres through it to flush out all the shite in the system and you will notice a nice difference.
