Well i figured that as the wife is away on training i may as well take on a little project so i got hold of an old mini moto from a mate which had a broken back wheel and stripped it all down to a frame.

The idea is to make it into something i can actually fit on without having to fold myself up into wierd shapes and risk dislocating joints. With this in mind i set about chopping up the frame a little so that i could make adjustments

Not turning back now then!

Then a few bits and pieces i ordered turned up so i can continue and mock it up ready to get welded.

Started putting it together

Still need to make the front down pipe to give the frame more strength but by building it up to this state i can start work on mocking up the fake tank section, seat and rear mudguard. Still need the sides etc and lots more shaping but you get the idea

Trying to mock up the shape of the tank but not sure if its quite there yet. Also got the measurements and angles for the front part of the frame so just need to get them ordered now, anyway opinions are welcome....

Everyones a critic!!

Cheers guys. Off up my mates this week to start the welding! also made sure that when i extended the frame you can take the front forks off and it will fit in the boot of the avant without having to drop the seats! Very Happy

One of my jobs in the near future is to rip out the kitchen and redo it all so im not that fussed Laughing
