Hi to all! I had buy some days ago a 2.0 cabrio Audi.. I want to put electric roof on it.. My car is already predisposed for electric.. Had the switch near the handbrake.. What i need? Just the motor or someother things? (Like something idraulic?) there are some differences between a manual roof and electric One? (Need to replace the roof too? ) thanks Smile

i think my audi and my roof are already predisposed for electric... but i don't know what i need.. pump? motor? thanks..

You will need hydraulic pump located in the right cargo side area, under the carpet

You will need the pump, hydraulic lines, wiring harnesses and the auto roof ecu.
It would be quite a big job, and the hydraulic lines are not cheap, never mind the pump! Wiring harnesses are quite rare as well, but ecu's are usually widely available.
They can all be found on fleabay, though not likely together in one listing.
You would probably be best (and cheaper) buying a whole donor car and cannabilising it for any parts that you will need.
