Hi
i now have a replacement fuel distributor & airflow meter fitted (and an allen key of the right size to adjust it).
my next problem is that it won't start, nearly does & fires up a bit weakly then runs on for a couple of seconds and then stops. i'm hoping it just needs some adjustment on the screw (the airflow meter is as it was out of the box).
i don't know which way to try to turn it or how far.
if i can just get it running then i can get it to the garage near me and they can fine tune it mixture wise.
any thoughts ladies & gentlemen?

i managed to find info on a website called diagnostic-assistance.co.uk which has alot of info on the bosch system. so after a bit of fiddling i got her running Smile .
now it's off to the garage for a bit of fine tuning and a look at a power steering fluid leak
