Yup, i've got an electric wiring loom, a heated seat loom plus I think there is one or two other looms i'm going to put in, might run rca's and other stuff in whilst i'm there.

Took me 10 mins to take the mint dash out the 2.8 v6 coupe quattro yesterday which was cool.

Had 2 hrs yesterday to work on the s2, did manage to get the following done:

Scorpion exhaust off the car
both bumpers off the car
rear coupe panel off the car
front brakes off the car and now sold when I dropped them off in cheshire earlier today

So there is progress being made there, want to get the car up in the air so I can start working on a corner at a time.

Picked up yet another spare rear diff and subframe with wishbones so i'll give these a clean up as they are in better condition than most i've seen.

Thanks for that, I just need to get some enthusiasm for the project atm.

I'm gonna try get some pictures of it in the lockup, looks a bit sorry for itself atm but at least its dry with lights and a lot of space to work on it there.

quick image of the car in its lockup, i've got to clean up those bricks which was from someone else in there, then arrange where i'm going to arrange where i'm going to have it.

work is happening just a bit slowly on the actual car.

I've picked up a spare rear diff/subframe on sat in cheshire from puglife so will get that cleaned up etc.

The spare engine is being built atm, he's lightened the spare flywheel that i've picked up and is ordering the clutch. Next will be checking the block and proceding building it up.

Lol, I basically had a mad night before I went into hospital to get to the cars get them running and drive them over and in, both cars will be getting wheel refurbs during the course and I know the s2 will most likely be getting a respray, maybe the type 85 as well.

Not a bad lockup, comes with electric and lights and costs around £100 a month for me and same for my mate.

Plus the type 85's hiding a treat for the chipfat express, a nice set of s8's Laughing

just need to collect the brembo's over christmas and get some tyres.

I'll get some pictures up asap but thanks to stiglett and madwolf my s2 is now up in the air waiting to have work started on it, we had fun messing around positioning it right in the lockup along with my coupe gt5s so my mate can use his half the lockup to strip down his cars.

sorry for the rubbish pictures but the lighting in the lockup was playing up where I have not used it much lately.

had to move all this around first so we could position the cars as there will need to have space for:

my s2 and getting around it
my coupe gt5s - it will be worked on once the s2 is done
2x cars being stripped by my mate at any time
and space to drive in/work on a car.

started off here:

after a bit of moving and shuffling by me, gary and alex we ended up with it here and started to raise it

finally up in the air:

gonna remove the wheels tomm night, and the rest of the exhaust then over the next few weeks all the suspension/subframes etc so it can all be refurbished and re-fitted.

lol - i call them breezeblocks but my mate had a different name for them as they are a lot stronger than a normal one.

I managed to get 12 of them @ 75p each in the back of the tdi and still leave madwolf in his 80 saloon a couple of times on the straights.

It is getting there slowly, lack of funds is the biggest hold up.

Yeah it lowered it quite nicely lol, still had room in the boot and i've still got 4 spare as we didn't use them as it would have been a bit high for putting the stuff back on.

copied from my other thread:

i'll comment here what happened today:

went up to my lockup where the s2 is kept along with my coupe gt to find someone had broken into all four lockups, nothing was taken atm so looks like they have just been scouting.

We've secured it for the moment better than what it was and my mate wired the door up on his to the mains so that should be entertaining Laughing

I know we could probably get in trouble for it but they should not be doing it in the first place so deserve all they get Razz

With regards to the steering wheel for the s2 I found a brand new in the wrapper rs2 steering wheel in black leather with the allen key headed center section

Just to add they broke in between 12 an 3 PM THIS AFTERNOON - what is the world coming to, it was broad daylight

Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad pricks i think you should link a good few batteries give the tw*ts a proper kick in the nuts! Everytime i see something like this i think of a bit from dirty sanchez- set up a senario when a little thief/vandal may pop up and wait with 3ppl with paintball guns.......then pounce and carry on firing till your out of ammo that would teach them Very Happy

think that the wired to the mains will give a bigger kick tho plus not likely to switch off Twisted Evil

Just glad that nothings gone walkies, hopefully its still ok tommorow and I can continue making it more secure, on a side note found out the guy in the lockup next to me has a 4 post lift Very Happy

I'll get some pictures up tommorow as I got back late tonight.

I picked up some spare parts for the car, a rare audi rs2 full black leather steering wheel with the allen headed center section brand new in the wrapper Very Happy

and a spare 20v 7a head as I was after the exhaust cam so whilst I was getting this I picked up a spare 3b inlet cam which now means I have a 20v head surplus to requirements so might just slap it on the bay and hope for the best.

I also got offered a load of turbo/manifold upgrade bits if I decide I should need them so I will see what I thinks best and go that route.
