Basic rule of thumb is to have cylinder 3 at TDC and have the large holes on the cam sprocket locking plates facing each other in a horizontal line.

you went to Karaoke? You need to learn, young Jedi- keep him talking long enough, the job doesn't get done on the Saturday, bits to do on the Sunday- next thing you know, it's too late to go out Laughing Laughing

Cool

Good job. It's a lot easier on something that only has one cam Laughing

What with me going at it with spanner and socket with the knowledgable Nogs on hand, we managed to get it done quite quickly. We even sat around for a couple of hours after and i was able to give the car a wash too Wink

Nah, not looking atm got other things i need to look at first, cosmetics can wait for a bit longer, plus Jo's Polo needs a major service now Rolling Eyes
I have seen what most of the Tuners/Stylers have got, but their all a bit too chavy for me, even the front and rear valences look a bit OTT.

After seeing these on here a month or so ago, It got me thinking as to what they would actually look like on the car. Rather than shelling out the £250 to find out, thought i'd get them photoshopped on Twisted Evil

My first reaction was yuk no way, bad idea. But after having a better look at them, I'm now not so sure. I'm beginning to like em Shock

What do you reckon?

Cheers jase for trying the ole picmagic Wink , with the only pics I could get Embarassed

I like it. Black lights on a black car. My mate Vasilis was over at mine today with his black RS2, with black lights. Looked evil.

By far the biggest difference is the grille though, but then I'm a known hater of chrome edged grilles so you may want to ignore my biased opinion Laughing

Choice is yours matey Wink

I like the black grill too Wink It helps to blend the black of the lights in. Even thinking of blacking the rings and then blacking it all at the back Question just leaving the quattro badges

With all this recent gay talk, It doesn't surprise me that you don't beat the bush Laughing Laughing Laughing Wink

The indicator bulbs would be changed for those diadem bulbs or similar to lose the fried egg effect on em. It would certainly look different to most of the B5's out there anyway, but you could be right Nog's, I'm just not 18 anymore Laughing Laughing Laughing

mmmmm, I think it still needs something on them lights, still too much shiny stuff Very Happy I could black it around the HID look lamp and up to and around the main beam reflector, and probably be ok blacking the strip than runs all the way along the bottom?

I already have plans to use a smoke tint, like docurley had on his B5 lenses, but use them for the fogs instead Razz I have also spotted a nice front bumper valance that will look nice, seen some sideskirts too. Just the elusive rear valance Confused All the ones I have seen are a bit too much chav with large cutouts for mesh and stuff, though being a black car, it might not stand out as much Confused
