BORING!! i cant believe you have over looked the twin turbo v10 from the new rs6. to me your wasting your time with this 5pot malarky
should be top with a 20v in fella and of coarse i would hope its not going in there without a tubular and an exhaust with a good deal of growl |

Could always get Bez to weld 2 7A's together to make a V10
Getting quite excited now at the thought of having a 7A again. Loved my CQ20V and, as you say, the growl is superb. Initially will leave the 2.5" Jetex system on but if necessary, will look at other options. Had a custom made one on my CQ20V and that was nice.
Not sure about which manifold is on the donor engine as not seen it yet. |

My coupe is a 2ltr 16v obviously front wheel drive. The car is in great nic and runs really well. I really like the idea of sticking a 1.8t into it (when the funds are available this will happen!) The only thing it lacks then is the quattro but i really know the car and want to stick with it. And like you say it will be a little different. I agree with owen |
likewise with my car. it now has a 7a under the bonnet courtesy of Nogsports and some would say so what, why spend that amount of money on a fwd coupe.
but, its my fwd coupe and its now looking tip top, sounds tip top and handles like a dream. shame its got power issues right now! (soon to be rectified)
and as above, do it owen. | Rectified now but I still think we should have fitted the 1.6 similar to Owens |

For the record and sorry to rob your thread Owen but Darryl has the best FWD suspension set up ever needed without killing the ride, not cheap but the car is very chuckable and behaves really well |

Thanks to mikes2 today I now have the plastic covers for the inside of the rear lights. In addition, I have a very good drivers wing despite it trying it's best to stay attached to the donor car
Also have the split folding seatbacks in the samecolour as my interior. Were a sod to get out so now hope they will fit. On this topic, does anyone know what the cable is for that runs through the seat hinges?
Hope to fit these shortly |

Air pipes for the central locking (lock the seat backs in place).
Complete PITA when it goes wrong! |

only just seen this!
cheers Nog, for others info its the KW 1 coilovers on my coupe. The car handles like its on rails. There is very little body roll and feels very solid and stable at speed. I know this as i hammered it back from Nogsport on the M6 toll last night!
sorry for the thread hijack Owen. |

Ahh thanks for that. Wondered if it was to do with that but seemed to be separate from the green door pipes. |

Had a bit of a set back today. Removed the standard rear seats for a look at fitting the split folding type but unfortunately, on mine, the side mounts are just not there. Neither are the mounts at the top for the pins that the seats clamp to.
I do have the four centre holes (no captive nuts but that could be overcome) but think this is going to be a major issue. |

I have most of the bits but it's where to mount them? Not sure I really want to start drilling holes and welding in mounts just for seats.
They really would be useful though - decisions decisions.
Thanks for the offer BTW |

You can probably get some nuts welded for the floor brackets.
It's the side brackets and holes which may be a problem.
I'm sure you can take an angle grinder to the spares car if needed |

That's might be the only option Mike. It's the side ones that concern me most. Might have to grind them off the donor car and then weld to mine.
Dear Bez..... |

Looking forward to this enormously, if it gets the attention Titan did it will be a very special car indeed. |
