Hi,
Before I look properly, anyone got a suggestion as to why I can't get the throttle to fully open when the pedal is to the floor? The pedal itself is "floppy" and has some play before the throttle starts to open - could this be the pedal or something as simple as a new cable or adjust existing one?

Usually where the throttle cable fits to the throttle body, there is a steel clip inserted into one of a series of grooves on the outer cable, just take out some of the slack and fit the clip to a different groove. (assuming the ABK has this setup?)

I believe it can be adjusted at the throttle body end.

on my abk engine the adjustment is done where the cable runs thru the bracket that comes off of the cam cover, a metal clip is used to hold the cable and several slots on the cable cover allow adjustment.
