I'm not sure the relevance of the teddy bear? When I was a kid they never threw petrol bombs
The Police can't win though, if they hadn't raided it the headline would have read "Police leave petrol bomb factory untouched".
I hadn't realised IED's were so publicly acceptable these days |

Just seems that the Police are trying to do a job and all these idiots keep sticking their noses in, distracting and disturbing the Police at a tense time. My advice to them is stay well away when a riot is going on, it makes the Police's job harder.
The people in the article whinge about Police brutality - I think their use of force is fine, there are a lot harsher ways of dealing with rioters in other parts of the world. Again, if you don't want a tap with a baton, stay away. |

I have mixed feelings on this
Yes on the one hand I totally agree the police are only doing there job and should clamp down on dangerous 'activist's'
But its how you go about it and how you go about 'protecting' innocent passers by and residents who are in this very popular and cultural part of the city.
Ordinarily its a great place to visit or even live, think multi-award winning Roni Size, Massive Attack or the infamous urban artist Banksy who has followers the world over !
But we also had the infamous 'Turbo-Island' which was finally removed after years of work with the local communities and police.
Then surprise, surprise up pops a Tesco Express that the locals were vehemently opposed to being sited there as there is already one a mile away in either direction not to mention a cheap outlet for those wanting to get over-inebriated and spoil what is a very artic and 'chic' part of this city |

As per my first pic, this is the 'original' as 'allegedly' painted by Banksy
A mere 100-150 yds to where it all kicked off.
Very apt
