Nice work there!
Just a pointer on the changing over to the 20v discs is that the caliper carrier bolts are a nightmare to remove due to the incedibly strong threadlock Audi use and also the usual corrosion! I've only managed to remove one bolt and the rest had to be removed by a garage with oxy-acetalene torch to melt the threadlock, I tried myself with a propane gas torch but couldn't get enough heat into the area. I have to remove my caliper carriers to change discs but this time I have the whole bearing knuckle off the car so I should be able to get a whacking big breaker bar on them!
Just a question...I need to remove the lower ball joints, do they come off easily with a ball-joint removal tool? |

Ball joint tool will split the joint off the hub no problem Si, i used one on my Coupe a few weeks ago when i dropped the subframe off to pull the engine and box out, i used a fork type job which is driven in between the ball joint and hub by a hammer, spilt them no trouble, never damaged the ball joint either.
Sorry for the hi-jack

Coupe looks nice with the coil overs on pal, agree with Si's mention of the caliper braket too though, a pig of a job, like the steering wheel too, nice touch.

I now get into the habit of running a tap threader (M14 x1.5) into the wheel bolt holes when replacing discs.
I also run a die over the wheel bolts at the same time or if they're in bad shape I fit new ones. |

Looks great dude, but I would stay away from the 'Black' rings. Not a good look IMHO |

Why not black the other grille and swap them over as the mood takes ya
Car looks great matey the red contrasts so well with black, I found the same with Rebel Ship (My A42.8q)
Front bumper is A1, well worth the effort.
I also think the silver coup is to die for, I have plans for my 90 which arent to dissimilar to what the silver coupe looks like...........complete colour change maybe |

Car looks really nice Darryl
I'm not too sure on the black rings myself, but they do look good on certain cars. How about trying something like THIS so you can try the look for real without spraying, and can easily remove it if you don't like it? |
