How difficult is it to change these items, i'm reasonably knowledgeable and not afraid to have a go but have to be honest reading one of the threads regarding getting pistons tdc threw me abit! Doubt is now setting in!
Audi are quoting approx £500 to replace both with labour,i would appreciate any advice from past masters on this project. If i have to concede are their any good garages near to lincoln or Heathrow that have been used by forum members?
Many thanks
Darren

See my (Fast28) pictures in the visitors' gallery, timing belt procedure is explained in one of the pics. Best buy the timing belt tools if you are unsure. Not too difficult if you are willing to "have a go!"

If you can wait till the sept issue I`ve done an article. Total cost with tensioner, idler, thermostat, water pump, front crank oil seal and bolt and of course the belt (all Audi parts) around £160
