I have a 2.0 8v 94/95 Audi 80. recently oil has entered into the coolant system (no water has passed into the oil system). The head gasket was replaced, the heat exchanger that houses the oil filter was tested and found to be faulty. This was replaced and seemed to do the trick (for about a week) but now the oil level is dropping and the fluid in the expansion chamber is getting thick with oil. Has anyone come across this problem or does anyone know where this exchange of oil into the coolant system is happening? - HELP!!

Usually this is either heat exchanger or head gasket leaking.
If you have changed the exchanger due to a fault, maybe worth flushing out the cooling system to remove any sluge that is still in there from that problem
