This is a good idea!
well- I've been around for a while.I knew Andy years ago when he had an 80 Sport.........
My first Audi was my 1985 80 Sport, now with 109k miles ,full history as I am the only owner. Other Audis, in order, have been, 1990 80 Sport with BRM engine conversion, driven by wife! Then I found a 80 1.8 quattro and bought that as well. Then a 2.8 B4 quattro, possibly the nicest car I ever had. Sold for A4 T Sport in 1996.Then another T Sport early in 1999 but only kept that for about 4 months as the quattro T Sport 180bhp became available and I just had to have one! December 1999 I bought an A3 T Sport ( to take th e strain of my commute)Great little car especially after chipping to 190bhp, so flexible and more econmical than the factory intended! I replaced that with an 2003 S3 then in 2004 I bought another A4, 1.8tQuattro S line.
I make that 10 in all.
Oh kingfisher? -- was the colour of the A3 and I got the car and on line about the same time.
Chris
Regrets? well I nearly bought a beautifully kept 90 quattro 20v Sport, in Tornado, from a guy near Northampton just before I bought the A3. I still have a hankering after one !!! I think I'd like an RS2 alway handy to have an estate car.
So we currently have three Audis, the 80 Sport, B5 quattro T Sport and B6 quattro T Sport S Line

we first saw the colour on a series 3 Coupe, looked great and as a result we nearly had it on the first A4, but went for silver. It looks quite nice on A4s but not as nice as on Coupes and the A3, perhaps it is to do with the overall shape - both are a bit roundy, especially at the rear!

Very True! A3's and seriesIII Coupes do look superb in that colour - more so than any other model. Smile

I was sat reading the first post, trying to work out who you were..... then when I thought about the 80 sport AND the 80 quattro.... (my past catching up with me lol)

I must get Dave (Askem) to jump on here at some point- trouble is, with his experience in preparing the rally cars, working on Audi's full stop, etc- I don't think he'll get any work done... that and the fact his only real chance to "get online" is via an internet cafe- the place he lives at in Menorca doesn't have a telephone line (and there's a waiting list for phone lines lol)

Hi Andy !!

Like the look of your 90 quattro, must go really well...... !
Yes still around and with Audis..... Had a ride in a M3CSL last night and that is a very nice car....... never thought I would be that impressed but that and a Porsche could tempt me away but I still have this hankering for the 90 quattro 20v Sport and the RS2......... life's so short and all these interesting things to do ..... and fit in WORK !

Don't let my bro read this thread, his head is big enough as it is Laughing
He has a Kingfisher blue S2 Coupe.

Must admit, it's a nice colour though.

Jas..
Cool

Oh, prefer the name Kingfisher Blue rather than it's official name of Pelican Blue too, ever see a blue Pelican? Confused Laughing
