Archive: Audi Service Bulletin (NOT recall- yet)
WebsiteIf you own any Volkswagen Group Vehicle- including VW, Seat, Skoda AND Audi , there is a service notification and potential recall (to be advised) for all 1.8T engines, along with some V5, W8 and other engines.


This affects ALL models manufatured by the group since 2001 model year up to some early 2003 model year units. Common causes are poor running, rough idle, loss of power etc. and relates to the coil packs of the engines. Owners experiencing problems, or having concern need to either contact Audi customer services (If UK- call 0800 699 888) OR go to your nearest Audi Centre.
There is no official press release on this at the moment, but as soon as we get one we will publish it here.
Once again it is NOT a recall as yet, and affected units will be either replaced during routine servicing OR individual customers will be contacted by Audi directly. Andy.
