The bespoke Service and Maintenance package that has reduced running costs and increased peace-of-mind for drivers of the new Audi A8 is to become a more permanent fixture. Availability of the comprehensive support package, which has been offered since launch for a one-off charge of £500, has now been extended indefinitely by Audi UK.

The package covers all new Audi A8 models for 5 years or 75,000 miles, whichever is soonest, and is the most 'all-encompassing' of its kind in the prestige sector. The Service element covers all parts required and labour charges incurred according to the official Audi Service Schedule, for the duration of the contract. The Maintenance section covers the replacement of any parts or items subject to fair wear and tear, and virtually any other unexpected repairs arising from proper use of the vehicle (not including damage caused by abuse, accident, vandalism or neglect).

The Audi A8 Service and Maintenance Package can only be specified at the point of purchase, but can be transferred between owners over the 5-year period.
