I had one these, a few years back, and it was a superb car. In my 5 yrs of ownership the only major, technical, issues were failure of the ABS module (£250 fix) and failure of the air con compressor.
I could almost achieve 30 MPG, on a run, in this car.
In my opinion, £2,500 is over-priced. Like the other chaps have stated - it's a buyer's market for larger engine cars.
Just a suggestion - For a little more than the price of that 2.8, you could enter the realms of V8 ownership. The 4.2 A6's are such good value for money and if you do mainly motorway miles, you should achieve approx 26 mpg.
Hope this helps! |
