Word of advice- might seeem like common sense, but don't leave buying winter tyres until winter! You get far more choice out of season.

The 2.5tdi 5 cylinder is very economical on fuel, Audi ran an ad campaign with the bonnet open and a camel looking under it. I think it still holds a record for miles per tank of fuel.

Dave, The auto on mine is a tiptronic being a 180bhp. The Multitronic could not take the extra torque at that time, still not sure about now.
Multitronic 'box does feel a bit strange if you are used ... |
