I'll use again any time and would recommend others to check out the servie too. Superb.

I've found vagparts.com the biz!!

- just bought & fitted the A4 / A6 front suspension kit. All genuine parts inc. all bolts required, for a brilliant price & good advice on shockers, etc.

- one thing to bear in mind though, is that the parts (at least the suspension kit) are sourced direct from Germany - ordered each week & arrive the following week. So may take up to 2 weeks to get to you. This was all explained to me on ordering & so not a problem.

- suspension is fitted now & cures loads of problems - knocking over bumps, vague steering, driveline play, dashboard rattles... Very Happy

Martyn is an extremely helpful person and a rareity in the motor trade as there is no bullsh*t from him !

Has helped my on numerous occasions where the likes of GSF and Eurocarparts could not. He may not always be as cheap as them but he does give you the right parts. More than can be said of my experinces of Eurocarparts!

Keep it up Martyn and thanks! Smile

I hadn't really used them until I had to purchase door seals for my coupe recently, I was pointed in their direction by a helpful Mr.cq20v.

I mailed Martyn a couple of times and I must admit the guy can't do enough for you which in todays climate is extremely rare.

I've bought the seal through them but because of the excellent customer service will be buying much more than that in the future!!

10/10 for everything so far, very happy!!

I will be recommending them to everyone I know that has an Audi, err, not many at the moment but Audis will rule the world one day, OH YES!!!

Cheers,

The website looks very much the partsdepartment.co.uk which ceased trading a few months back. Are they the same lot?

Reiterrating everyone elses comments, ive found Martyn to be extremely helpful, but more inportantly as cq20v mentioned he doesnt bullshit you. Very honest (which lets face it is a rareity anywhere for the consumer these days) and will happily tell yoou if the same part can be bought cheaper from Audi UK. Gets my reccomendation everytime.
Regards Gavin

OK,
Martyn worked for parts department. Went on holiday, came back and found the company had filed for bankruptcy (or similar) due to one errant customer. (I can't comment further)

So Martn and another guy set this up. He gets our full support and backing, and the posts here speak for them selves and their reputation in such a short time.
Very Happy

Don't get me wrong...My question was not ment to suggest that anything was wrong with the company. On the contrary, I was very happy with the partsdepartment and was disappointed when it disappeared. Based on others experience vagparts is continue the great customer service.

They seem to be able to supply you with as much as a main dealer can, but mch more helpful and the prices seem good too.

I talked to Martyn, he seems a nice guy, knows what he is on about.

Couldn't agree more with regards to Martyn's friendly, knowledgable approach. Audi UK's dealers would do well to give him a ring and see how it's done !

However I'll have to throw a fly in the ointment here: My first experience with vagparts was a bit of a mess: The £95 order I'd agreed with them actually cost me over £125. This was because no mention was made of the extra cost involved in importing from Germany, and this certainly wasn't quoted to me when I placed my order. Maybe this was a genuine mistake?

However, it's worth getting the full picture before parting with cash. You could find that- as I did- that great saving may not quite be so great, after all...

Have been back since, and have to say that unless I need the part that day, vagparts is my first port-of-call.

Audi dealer in Bath wanted £290.36 + VAT for A4 central locking pump, VAGParts want £189.41 + VAT for the same part!!!

I am still on the lookout for a 2nd hand part, but if I can't find one, I will get itfrom VAGParts.

Cant fault the guys, they all know their stuff. Martyn is great (might talk you to death, lol) He knows everything you need to know and will give free advice. Any S2 owners, parts are easy as 2 of the guys (inc Martyn) run S2 Avants.

Good work guys, keep it up

Mark
