that plug is linked to the o2 sensor and adjusts fuel pressure when in closed loop mode by disconnecting it you have bypassed a faulty o2 sensor and the ecu is in a default mode check the lamda o2 sensor to confirm this there are three wires from it going to two seporate plugs the one you want to test is the one with only one wire check continuity to earth with ignition OFF should have no resistance if it has resistance then it is faulty cheers allan.. |

on your picture, inside the red circle there is a hole.
What's that for because it won't be helping |

I'd sort them out before replacing any lambda sensors.
There may have been a heatshield in the kit which either didn't fit or got removed - hence the holes. You need to bung them or replace the hose.
A better idea would be to remove the cone filter and return it to stock. |

can you post a zoomed out version of the pic as I am interested to see how the cone filter works with the fuel metering head.. |

the holes in the plastic duct pipe will make no difference to anything as it is unmetered air also the cone filter is only show as wont work in that position and is a restriction ..allan |

what has been put on the end of the exhaust gases testing tube? cant work out why somebody would put a filter on it as it should not be open to the air? normally the blue plug closes it up |

you need to remove that small filter and make sure the end of the pipe is blocked off |
