Please help! I bought my first Audi 80 Cabrio year 92, 2.3i, I love it!
But this morning when i came to work i started to hear a kind of loud and weired noise coming from the engine. Only when I push the gas(accelerating) .. As well the car doesnt really accelerate.. Sad its erally slowly getting up, i need to put it back to 4th at 70km/h..

What could be the problem? It wont stop on the way, will it? Sad

THanks

injector failed? valve or Tappet could be lots of things, hows everything ,oil coolant, fuel, plugs, leads, just wild guesses without more info and checks, anything played up or replaced recently.

THanks for your reply! fianlly yesterday the car stopped, .. Sad I came about 50kms but had a traffic jam on highway for 20 mins, after just infront of my house...the engine stoped, big white smoke out from te exhaust, and doesnt start again. I would guess it will be something with Head gasket or pression in the engine something expensive to get fixxed for sure as i have the luck .. Sad

The water gone from the tank, and it seems to have more oil on the stick.. than before so i guess the wwater entered the engine and it couldnt burnt it or something..

Any idea or suggestions? Thanks again!
