Hi all,
I have a new addition to my fleet and I would like some inspiration, but I also think it would be nice for all to show their rides and the work they might have done to them. So as the title says, please post a picture of your cabbie for all to see (if you want), i'll start with mine and hopefully this will look different in the near future:
Not mine:
Thanks in advance for your input and please make this a 'sticky' if it becomes popular?

But I would like some wheels 17's 18's would look nice but it's my everyday car so may be a hard ride. Im not mad about the rubberised strips along the door bottoms and i know with age they look scruffy and start to come away, I would like the whole bottom half colour coded, but for the moment the car is straight and original and sharp for A 14 year old.... But Im up for ideas |

The photo above looks the nuts!
The door rubbers- quick fix, not so cheap (dealers)- but worth it!
Colour coded they can make a difference- look for "ice install finished" thread in cabriolet forum- old thread, but I think Cotsie did it on his cabby..... (among lots of other mods) |

My recent purchase, '98 2.6 auto with 60k miles:
Although it looks rather different inside just now: seats and carpets are out (recolouring the leather and drying the carpet!).

I'm glad i started this thread now, some really nice pics and cars on here!
Agentprawn - I like the ride height on your cab, would you mind if I asked what suspension you're using please? Coilovers or springs? and what height please? And are you still using the standard size tyres on your Bolero's? It looks great and this is the sort of stance I would like with mine too with the Bolero's
Many thanks

hi yaz
in the pics the car was on some PI lowering springs bought from eBay for about £80 iirc, think it said they would drop the car 40mm but it actually dropped a lot lower, i also took one extra coil out of the rears to get it to sit level. i didn't, but it would've, benefited from some uprated front dampers. i've since fitted KW coilovers and have raised the car up by about an inch as i've a few extra speedbumps to contend with
boleros are running standard size tyres

Hi Agentprawn,
thanks for this info it helps massively. As you can see from the top pic of my cab with the Bolero's and I wasn't sure how much to lower it by especially with the larger wheels and tyres etc. The only company that seems to make coilovers for the Audi Cab is KW, and even though I run the KW group buys, I still can't stretch to a set at the moment. However the other brands within the KW group (AP and Weitec) make suspension kits for this car which are much more reasonably priced. So I think i'll be going down that route...
Thanks again mate!

2.8 cabrio manual, retired to the sunshine (Spanish plated now)
and this week I finally managed to get another 17" Bolero (ebay, after nearly 2 years waiting and watching) to replace the one buckled one it came with..
Bear is very happy about the vibration under his right rear being gone at last..

I just bought myself a Audi Cabriolet 2.6 from 1995 last week. The car has some marks and scratches but has got an impressive service history.. and most of the marks on the picture can be fixed with some intensive cleaning
