Where are the chassis numbers stamped on a B6 avant ?, I have to check these to comply with HPI check T&C's, which incidently are worded to make it unlikely they'd ever have pay out.

The easiest way to see the VIN is on the top of the dash where it's on a plaque visible through the windscreen.
Check with the V5 and you should be ok. It's also on the data plate under the bonnet.
