I know this has been raised before but after running through 4 full tanks of unleaded I am getting a paltry 17mpg. Thats mainly urban driving - little bit of m/way but even then I keep it below 70. Rest of time I am driving very economicaly to see if I can get mpg up but still 17mpg.
Car is a 2001 with 63k on it, fully serviced and just had new exhaust temp gauges and lambda sensors - I'm pretty certain I was getting better prior to them being fitted. Garage are saying there's not much they can look at as no CEL on - and also they seem to think 17mpg is normal. Its not a deal breaker if this is all I'm going to get but any suggestions? Seems other folk with this model on the Fuelly website are getting better. Crying or Very sad
thanks
