Hi guys, not sure if there is an easy fix, but i had a odd noise come on the other day which sounded like it was coming from the glovebox area, comes on without engine running. after messing with all the permtions of the ventilation system i hit the recirculate button and hey presto , the noise was almost constant, like a Brrrr brrrr brrrr brrrr brrrr noise. any ideas how i fix this as its driving me insane now lol. cheers Ako Confused Mad 3.0 tdi quattro s-line 2007.

I had problems with a couple of the motors on my A4. Being a tight git I just stripped them down, cleaned them up and put them back together. It's a simple job. When I get home from work (probably Friday) I'll pull one back out, strip it, take photos of what I did and post them on here. They are simple little units with just a motor, worm drive and a potentiometer (variable resistor).
