bought a car project. audi a6 2.5 tdi quattro tiptronic.
no drive at all. engine starts but no gears, scaned for faults and faund gearbox ECU: 18233 pressure control valve 3 (n217):short to plus: p1825 and 18265 load signal : error massage from ecu : p1857. engine ecu 00550 start of injection regulation. after clearing faults "18233 pressure control valve 3 (n217):short to plus: p1825" gone, so got two left. had mice problem in side the car, so could be cable damaged somewhere, has anybody got any idies and any fault finding diagrams. or gearbox wiring resistance chart?

p.s. i've removed carpet, it was dampish, ecu wasn't wet, but still had it dried- no luck
