Put a board over ithe hole then a tarp over the whole roof. Put weights on the tarp.
Get onto Nogin at nogsport - he might be able to help with some spare bits - I know he has parts from my saloon sunroof mech (which may not work out but some bits might)

I know the aperture is a different size - the mechanism might be similar and every little helps towards keeping this fella dry. What I was alluding to was that if Nog has got my old one - he may also have others (as is the case with his treasure trove)

thanks guys, I have bought a car cover whilst it sits outside the house (hopefully some lowlife doesn't pinch the cover) I'm flying off to Italy on Monday on holiday so i won't be able to sort anything out until next Friday i guess but if anyone has one (with or without mech) i will collect if it's close enough price permitting. Cheers for the responses so far though.

It's Kingfisher blue but colour is not really an issue right now it can be sprayed if needs be. It was a glass one but if a steel one fits then so be it.

it could happened because the mechanizm of the glass just corroded. take a look at link below. If you need that type of glass is 15quid in this auction and I can buy it for you and send. But worst thing will be if some pieces of the frame also gone with the glass of the sunroof. Check it and let me know.
