Avant is just Audis name for an estate (in the same way BMW call their estates a 'touring')
I think if you get a new filter (worthwhile on a diesel as one bit gets sooted up), oil filter and oil, glow plugs and get the cambelt sorted you'll be well away. it may be worth changing the coolant too while you're at it if it's looking dirty.
I'm not sure which suspension components you mean though. Top mounts usually need doing! Were the suspension components an advisory on the MOT?

It might be the wishbone bushes (but don't hold me to that)
If it is the wishbone bushes, you buy the whole arm and bush, or you can buy a set of polyurethane wishbone bushes which do not wear as quickly as the standard items and provide better tyre location on the ground (which means more grip and better wear) as long as you get the tracking done after!

Yeah, they come with the bush attached inside the pressed steel bit.
Could they mean the ball joints then? That comes as a bush in a little metal arm that connects the suspension arm/wishbone to the steering knuckle.

That's what I was going to say. Avoid the ones on Ebay and buy the dealer only part.
Regards servicing - run a can of Forte diesel conditioner straight into the fuel filter and drive hard in 2nd and 3rd gear for 5-10 mins. Helps prolong injector life. Replace with new fuel filter and top up with fresh diesel.
