2.5 tdi limping

Helo

Any help or direction with this problem welcomed. Need to get her vagcomed really but no time at the mo.

Today when flooring the A4, as soon as kick back came in car would go into limp mode. Did this a couple of times regardless of what speed I was doing. I would have to stop the car, turn engine on and off and then the car woulds be OK.

Under normal acceleration its OK but induce kick back and it happens again.

Any ideas? I'm thinking it might be something to do with the turbo/boost control maybe?

Sounds like the problem I had with my 2000 2.5tdi after it went in to Audi who told me it was a MAF problem which I disagreed with. They changed the MAF and no improvement they took it in for investigation. They told me the turbo was knackered. When I spoke to a guy that refurbs turbos he told me as it was a variable vain turbo they get sooted up and he could refurb it for £250 which I did and its been spot on since. Fault vagcom pulled up was inlet manifold pressure intermittent. Mine started going into limp mode when trying to accelerate hard in third.

Turbo was recond last year but its never been the same since
