Sad
Can anyone offer any help on the following problem?
The speedo does not work on my 94 cab. However, when i rapidy increase speed to over 50mph it bursts into life.
Then nearly every time i use the indicator it causes the needle to drop back down to zero. On the other hand if the thing is not working and i use the indicator it works for a fraction of a seond.
If i use full beam on the lights the speedo works!
I've checked the plugs in the indicator stick and the plugs in the back of the dash. No obvious faults.

Any ideas?
PS - What does the voltage regulator in the back of the instrument panel actually do?

You`ve obviously got a bad earth or breaking wire or even a broken pin in the stalk connection, take the stalk switches off and check the wiring. Then try driving to get the speedo going without the swiches plugged in. The voltage reg at the rear of the dash is for stabilizing the voltage for Fuel and Temp guages. Evil or Very Mad
