It,s rained none stop for two days and the drivers footwell is damp, must be getting water in somewhare, is there any usual suspects to check? the back of the car is dry so it's not the rear lights causing a streem to run to the front, I think that maybee the engine compartment fuse box may be the problem area as it looks as though there is a seal under it ,it could be a little worn

Do you have a sunroof? If so, the drain holes get blocked with dirt, but these can easily be sorted with some stiff wire
Cheers

Could be the door seal failing at the front, causing drips onto the floor ?
The frameless door on the coupe can cause problems as the seal gets tired over the years, or if the door gets misaligned/drops due to hinge wear or damage.
It might be a combination of this and heavy driving rain being blown against the window, making the seal leak - you could test it out with a garden hose in all the places you reckon might be leaking.

Thanks for the advice I had a Volvo that had a river flowing through the floor plan at the slightest bit of rain this was due to the rear lights seal and was easily rectified, The Audi has only a slight dampness after a torrent of driving rain so I dont think it is severe but I would like to rectify before it becomes a problem I shall get the karcher out and see if it shows any leakage where you say

It seems to be the door seal as andyc16v states, is this costly to replace or would I be better off doing some kind of patch up job?

Audi want £126 + VAT each, awaiting a responce from VAGPARTS, the leak is evedent where the triangle of rubber on the door window meets the seal on the door.
