DKW F12

This is the DKW F12 made between 1963 and 1965. Engine is an 899cc developing 45bhp at 4500rpm. Only 2794 were produced in cabriolet.
Sorry about the picture quality, only as good as my book, imagine your favourite colour then tell me you dont want one.

I've seen one. In the UK.
I was co-organiser of the All German Car Show @ Chatsworth in September 1997- there was one there, a bright red one. Needed a little work, nothing much. Didn't get a photo Sad

but it was nice.... Smile

Strangely enough I imagined it to be red, could do with a 3.0L. Evil or Very Mad

Was this the model with the two distributors, that had to be balanced up to run properly ?

Its quite possible, I`ve seen under the bonnet of a different DKW and they are quirky. I`ve now got some better pictures of this one in Red and posted them on the gallery. Evil or Very Mad
