Newbie. Audi 80 1994 V6 2.6 owner

My Audi 80 1994 V6 2.6. I bought it about 2 months ago. Its a great car, but I have been having a few issues. I find after I have been driving, the motor is very hot. A lot of heat coming from it. I don't have any overheating problems. Also, after I have been driving for awhile, the car wont start. All the lights come on but nothing when I turn the key.....after abt an hour when the car is cooler, it starts.........could this be the brushes on the starter motor? The aircon didn't work, so I replaced the compressor. Now the condenser is leaking and it wasn't before, so I am having that replaced. I find the car very hard when going over bumps, like driving a tractor, so I got a mech friend to look at the shocks. He said that I have short springs that's why its hard and the shocks look new, so I should leave it.......mm don't know about that as it doesn't feel right. Any thoughts? Now the (!) light comes on when I brake hard. I have topped up the hydraulic. Brake fluid is fine. Also, when I am in park with the engine running and I push very hard on the brakes the light comes on but I noticed the pedal goes down a bit.......any thoughts...........oh yes, I would like to replace the speakers in the rear doors, but don't know how to take the door panels off as they are sealed units and I cant find any screws??? Nice car, with a few issues!

For the heat issue, I would check the thermostat, as it sounds like it may be stuck!

The brakes could be a number of things, the Servo may be on the way out? Does it have ABS? If you can find someone with VAGCOM, then you could run a diagnostic check, that would be useful.
