can anyone tell me if the tie rods are all the same throughout the models
i need a n/s one for my 89 2.0e and was just wondering if i could use one from a 90/coupe/v6 etc,B2,B4 etc

this is the part numbers listed for a80 1989 rhd left tie rod 811419802k and it shows no change for engine size and same tie rod for 80s 1985-1996, cab 1992-2000, coupe 1985-1996 all quattros too, as listed in etka.

nice one mate do have the info to say if the late 70's early 80's are the same.
the only reason i ask is that i found one for £5 for a 1979 its new and according to the listing if does fit mine, but im not so sure as i found one for mine on ebay for £25 inc postage and it say for audi 80/90 1987 - 1991. Then goes on to say say please dont message us to ask if it fits other models as if it did we would say so
which sounds fair enough

i got mine off ebay, and it has not failed me yet, have a butchers on there or something like patrco.
