Hello,
I have a problem with my Audi A3 2001 (Y-reg).
If car was not driven for more than 2 days it is impossible to switch on engine without booster (battery runs off). However when I trying to
switch it without booster it shows "FUSE". After boosting everything seems ok and even after 15 minutes drive engine starts normally.
I guess it could be Alarm Fuse problem because sometimes it starts alarm without any reason. Have tried to switch off interior monitor (near driver's door) but didn't help.
Any solutions?

Welcome
On the A4's a common current drain occurs when the hazard warning light switch fails, make sure the illuminated red triangle switch goes out after a set time when you lock the car (typically 30 seconds).

Im curious what the noise was from the fuse panel .. was it a poor fuse contact sparking and dropping your volts whenever any real current was needed? (WILD GUESS)
