lol. Prefer the RS6's, and will probably look ok on your car in gun metal; it's all down to personal preference. You doing the refurb any time soon, or is that going to wait for the next weekender at Phils? |

I'm going to prep them over the next couple of months in between other commitments, but I don't suppose I'll get any paint on them before the weather improves in the spring, unless I end up taking them somewhere to do it. |

right... 5 months later.... what are you doing with the RS6s?
and what colour should I do mine?
Crystal blue car and I fancy a change from the silver so may attempt some kind of gunmetal too
Looks like this just now with 16" winters on
and looks a bit like this in summer shoes
(I won't hijack your thread James, I promise) |

Mine are going anthracite! I'm not doing it myself this time, either at the £20wheel deal through AOC or possibly somewhere else in conjunction with Simon K. it's just waiting on me getting round to getting the wheels up to him
I think you should do your the same colour Noel |

hmmmm... what to do...
and would matching anthracite mirrors or avus silver mirrors (to match the window trims and roof bars) be better? aghhh. £20 per wheel sounds brilliant.. i'd jump at if I wasn't so far |

Thats an RS6 though, you could put Andy's Nothelle's on it and it would still look good!
If you did them Anthracite and then thought "Nah" you could run them for the summer and do them again over the winter. The hard work is the prep, changing the top coat colour is (fairly) straightforward. |

To be fair I actually quite like them!
But the joke wouldn't have worked if I'd have said that |

I can't help thinking that RS6 looks crystal blue, like my A4. therefore.. maybe avus wheels and mirror caps would look good too.
maybe I should just buy an RS6 and work out how to explain it to my missus afterwards. although RS6 instead of house is never going to go down too well is it? |
