In an attempt to get my (alegedly) 140BHP A6 up to power I did a graph on vag-com this morning. Here is the result:
Now, it is possible I haven't done it right as it looks to me that there was a requested boost of 1.5 bar going on, which is more than my chipped S2 an achieve .
It looks like actual is way down on reqested but if 1.5 bar is right I'm not surprised .
Does this make any sense to anyone? Does it look like I've done the graph right?

I dont know if that is '1.5' bar, but my Audi was requesting 2000 and getting it, but I am not sure if that is 2.0 bar as I don't know about that sort of thing.
I am sure Bladerunner will know the answer and be along at some point to fill us in!

A chipped S2 can boost to 1.4 so I cant see a diesel hitting 2 bar. IIRC, a chipped |AEL will boost to 1.0bar. I took MBAR to be 'milli' bar, as in 1000 in a bar?
Is your car chipped at all?

Mine is chipped, but I am sure that it was saying 2000 (Bananas) on the vagcom, but as you say I am not convinced it is bar!

from what I can tell, mine is requesting between 1600 - 1700 max which could be about right as it isnt chipped (yet ).

Hi guys, normal atmospheric pressure is about 1 bar (varies a little with weather), does the vag com present bar including atmospheric pressure or bar over atmospheric pressure, if you take 1 bar away from your figures they start to make more sense. Not an expert in this so I may be completely wrong but something worth checking.

I have a set of chips here waiting to be fitted but I want to get any boost problems sorted before fitting. It looksl like I have a problem, now is it the turbo or a leak? Need to do some investigating. Is it normal for the duty cycle of the N75 to stay static like in my graph?

This sounds like the answer to me, 1 bar over atmospheric making 2 including.

Stock is 0.8 bar over atmospheric or there abouts chipped is 0.9 to 1.0 bar.. overboost throwing fault code in ECU if you have 1.1 to 1.2 bar for more than a short peak.
Mine was over boosting leading to fuel restriction control by the ECU.. when I bypassed all the electronics in trying to diagnose the cause it went like stink until I blew the lower IC hose, and I mean blew with a big bang
The overboost was caused by a seized wastegate valve, seized slightly open.
This could be your issue if it were stuck more open than mine so not able to create the overboost scenario, but it could also be blocked cat (less likely on 2wd than 4wd), or a boost leak or a problem in the boost control vacuum or electrics. or EGR stuck open partially open, damaged turbo etc etc hard to archair diagnose really need the car
