Hi does any one know of a product i can use on my roof to make it less attractive to cats.
Recently "COLIN" the neighbours cat has decided that it likes sleeping on the roof of my TT cab and i am getting fed up of all the hairs it leaves behind. I know this forum is for the 80 but theres probably more of you so any suggestions welcome. By the way my last car was a 97 1.8 cab.

Wardag,
Personally I use a West Ireland Terrier, pretty effective and doesn't cost to much, one day he'll catch the damn cat and then, it's payback time.....lol
I don't think there's a product on the market, they say spreading Lion sh1t on your garden works keeping cats off the dehlias, but would probably smell bloody awful if rubbed into the roof of your TT!

Have you thought of a roof cover, to be honest thats what I use, takes mins to fit and remove and keeps bird poo off the roof?
Otherwise a quick trip to the local zoo and a good pair of Nike running shoes........

Whenever you see him on your property, squirt him with a watergun filled with a bit of fairy liquid in the water. The taste will be unbearable for him every time he licks himself, and he will soon make a link between going near your stuff and not being able to lick his own balls without having a bad taste in his mouth.

As much as i hate him for doing it , i couldn't be that cruel. Sounds fun though. The water squirting that is , not the other bit

They hate the smell of Oranges. Possibly all citrus fruits?
Unsure of any specific products that are going around now but I used to have an orange spray that I sprayed on the back of my couch as the wee bassa would use it as a scratching post. It worked well, not used the spray for years so he must have got the message. Not sure how well it will work for you though, might get rid of the cat but attract a swarm of bees.
