Dealer offered me service and maintenance plan @ £61/month for my new A6
It is to cover all parts and labour for 3 years/75k miles. Car is to be serviced every 10k miles
On average I do 23 - 25k miles/annum mostly motorway.
Is this a good deal? What do you think? Is it worth it?

sounds like a good deal m8, gonna need serviced twice a year at your mileage and so thats about 370 a time judging by your £61/mth.
dunno bout you lads but i go through pads about every 15k then any other lil bits and pieces needed at service time etc. and i'd be expecting a timebelt change in there somewhere around the 70k depending on engine os if you add up the basic cost of 6-7 services, 3 pads changes and a timingbelt change i'd be thinking the sums would speak for themselves!
Looks like this may be worth doing. Sort of future hassle-free option.

Does it include 'consumables' like tyres?
If it doesn't include tyres then would it include brake pads?

All consumables but no tyres. With tyres it was around twice that price.
Tyres for this model are 255/35/19 so AUDI would charge arm and leg for them.
In all fairness, they have said that as much as they would like me to take the plan with tyres, this is not actually best deal.
You can get a descent set of tyres like Goodyear Eagle F1's for around £700 fully fitted if you find good deal.

interesting that they're insisting on the 10k service intervals.
Is longlife servicing not available on the model you're buying or are they selling you this service plan instead of offering you long life servicing. Is there an equivalent plan for long life servicing

I asked myself the same question Mike.
According to Audi brochure, the way I am going to use the car, should justify the long life servicing.
I have not signed any papers yet so I will ask them about this again.
I managed to get really good deal from them as the negotiations took almost 2.5h so maybe they are trying to make money elsewhere...
