springs/struts petrol and deisel differances

hello everyone,

ive seen a set of springs/struts for an 80 avant but not sure if petrol set up fits a deisel car??
i know there are differances in the vw range (owned a good few) between the two feul types but is it the same for audi??

set up is giving a 60mm drop at front and 40mm out back

any help or info would be great

If it's aftermarket springs, they probably don't offer different versions for petrol or diesel variants.

Audi do. different springs for different engines and also different for air con cars and again different for saloon and avant.

With aftermarket, the difference you'll see is the drop.

its aftermarket ones with a 30mm drop guy thats selling them had them on a petrol audi, ive seen a set on ebay for my car brand new for not much more money so prob will just go for them.
