Does anyone know if its possible to speed restrict an old Audi. My new van is limited to 69 mph and the amount of fuel you save is really good. I was just cautious to know if it was possible and if so how would you go about doing it

The only limiter I've got is my right foot.

It might be a better idea to look at getting cruise control fitted

there are companies around who supply aftermarket versions. No idea how good they are or how suitable they would be for your 80.

The problem is that the cost is so high that any potential savings on fuel are wiped out.

I don't actually agree with speed limiters. It would be far better if driver education was improved

Don't go over 2.500 rpm and change your name to Miss Daisy. sorted. Laughing

seriously I doubt, other than changing your style of driving, there is anything worth doing that will save any money in the long run.

id have to be doing 2100 rpm to get the mpg upto a good return Laughing unfortunatly that would mean traveling at 56 mph which i dont think is a safe speed on the motorway ( but then 69 isnt either when your trying to overtake a national express coach going downhill Laughing )

the van does 2100 rpm to acheive 69 mph and to £115 in deisel isnt bad when it does over 800 miles to a tank

god id love to get 800 miles to a tank out of me car Sad
