Hi. My electric roof doesnt work, all the windows drop about 6 inches and thats all that happens. These are the codes its showing.

5 Faults Found:
01089 - Switch for Tensioning Strut Stowed (F204)
25-00 - Unknown Switch Condition
01096 - Switch 1 for Convertible Top Box Lid Latched: Left (F199)
27-00 - Implausible Signal
01113 - Luggage Comp. Lock Actuator Motor 2
28-10 - Short to B+ - Intermittent
01107 - Convertible Top Locked Indicator Light (K98)
36-10 - Open Circuit - Intermittent
00271 - See Repair Group 1
35-10 - - - Intermittent

Can anyone shed any light on the locations of where these faults may be?
Ive read about the looms giving lots of problems, how do you get at them? through to boot?

Yes ive been searching the forum and was just reading that thread. I'll check what wiring i can find and go from there.

If you check the measuring blocks against the list in this post it might give a clue.

Result, found 4 broken wires in the wiring where the boot lid hinges, now it all works fine.

I think experience has proved if anyone is having roof problems, and your car still has the original boot looms, get them changed first.
Its a cheap fix !! Laughing
