During the early hours of Friday morning 11th December 2009 my much loved Audi Quattro Turbo 20v in Pearl white with FULL grey leather was stolen off the driveway of my house in East London. The car is one of the last of the 20v's registered in 1991, the last 6 digits of the chassis no. is 000175. It did have my cherished number plates on the car TAD 6. I have owned Quattros for over 25 years and this really was my pride and joy, having looked for many years for this model in this colour. The wheels are standard Ronal 8j x 15 in Pearl white with nearly new Toyo R888's fitted. It has a David Sutton Motorsport Ltd decal in the rear window. The front screen has two small chips (repaired) in the centre and has a Porsche GB decal in the centre of the front screen behind the rear view mirror. The interior trim is in very good order with rare FULL light grey leather seats. Any information regarding my car would be very much appreciated and will be very well rewarded. I cam email any pictures if they are required... Thanks very much in advance for any info. |

I thank everyone for their replies, sympathy and comments. I will emphasise that ANY information leading to the safe return of my beloved Quattro WILL BE VERY WELL REWARDED!!! I am unlikely ever to find a better example and I was intending to keep this car for good, my last Tornado Red example 10v I bought in 1988 and sold in 2008, 20 years!! so I am a real Quattro enthusiast like most of the kind persons who have made their posts on this site. Many thanks again to all. |

its a shame it never got some viewing before hand, beautiful looking car.
Arse of an xmas present alight, I hope the insurance gives you a realistic value. We have seen some cars recovered but more often in a terrible state. Given how clean/rare it is looks like its been stolen to order.
Keep us all posted, i know its retrospective now, but can you give us some more details on the car. How long have you had it, totally standard? I see it has 888's which imply you have a bit of a track fetish. |

I have owned the car since March 2008, whilst I still owned my Tornado Red 10V. I spent a long time getting the car up to scratch, having it paited, replacing and repairing some of the interior carpet (had got a little damp). I had just put on EPC drilled and grooved discs all round and greenstuff pads and replaced both handbrake cables. The car is absolutely standard and unmolested, and yes she has seen a bit of action at the Nurburgring and Donnington Park. Its heartbreaking to lose her as she is irreplaceable in my view. My heart strings really have been tugged by the interest everyone has shown and should she be recovered I shall throw a party and you all will be invited at my expense!! Now there's an offer. Keep 'em peeled. Thanks again. |

Hi Brodie
I've posted this on all the main other Audi Forums to try and get as much exposure on this as possible!
quattroforum.com
classicaudi.co.uk
Audisrs.com
Someone else has put it on S2forum.com
I have a Pearl White MB, and I know how I'd feel if I were you. Tragic mate!
TBH, this sounds very much like stolen to order, most of these scumbags don't know what a quattro is!!
Best of luck finding it! - Intact! |

No news whatsoever, not even a whisper!! The number plate TAD 6 I have owned for over 30 years and has been on several cars including 4 UR Quattros. My reward is still up for grabs for my car's safe recovery and it will be substantial and worthwhile, someone out there knows of her wherabouts!! please come forward. The headlights I have modified with a Zenon kit (available from Ebay), very good and transforms your view at night, even on dipped beam. It just leaves me to wish everyone who has shown me so much concern regarding the loss of my prized possession a very Marry and Crime free Xmas and a Happy and Prosperous New Year. Thanks again. |

Really sorry to hear of your loss ! I did see a post on classic audi and quattro forum , You need to get the Police working for you instead of just giving you a crime number and telling you that hundreds of cars get stolen every day and there is nothing they can do .......It's not a bloody ford escort !It is a bulldogs *censored* ( It is hardly an every day car ) ! The govenment is so paranoid and therefore there is a CCTV camera on just about every lamp post in the land , If they can be bothered to look at CCTV and ANPR archives , you might have a stroke of luck ! If it was involved in a murder or an act of terrorisom . it would have been found in a matter of hours ! Just remember the Police are here to help us all !Good luck and hopefully she will turn up ! Fingers Crossed for you Dude ! |
