That's mental shifts.
Me? Just finished a 2½ week shut down at the local chemical factory (working as a rigger/slinger/banksman)
12 hour shifts (7-7), started on nights then went over to days
Good candy Managed to get a shift rate instead of hourly
Now I'm studying for my MCITP exams, back has finally given up on me
So I've been forced to seek other emplyment (mainly office work) |

Any updates Mark?
Did you manage to get the exhaust sorted?
I'd really like to order one myself but only if 034 get their act together and make an option for the euro bumpered cars. |

Due to no work, had to sign on last month
So I can't sort out the exhaust at the moment as money is a bit on the tight side to say the least.
Also the snow and bad weather is still with us, plus the S6 only has garage insurance.
All is not lost, I have found a very good welder over here who runs his own garage - really knows his stuff (a Swedish Bez ).
So once I'm back on my feet it will get done.
What needs to be done....
The exhaust hangers need to be taken off and realinged - at the moment some of them don't match up.
I need a center sound box fitted (I know, I was a fool and didn't order one at the time from 034, thought it would just be enough with the rear box)
The pipe that comes out from the rear box and joins the rest of the system needs to be shortened (due to the Euro bumper being slimmer than the US one) so this will hide the rest of the rear box.
Other than that, to complete 'Phoenix'
Fit a petrol hose (wating for me in the celler)
Re-dye the drivers seat (almost done)
Re-dye the rear seat (in the celler ready to start)
Re-spray both bumpers and sunroof
Fix a small rust bubble on the roof where it meets the rubber seal of the sunroof
Fit new shocks and springs all round
Rolling Road, if I haven't hit the goals I'm after, then I'll fit a FMIC - this will be tricky as theres not alot of room between the bumper and the A/C rad and the normal rad, I still would like aircon.
If I'm happy with it and it's as good as new I might keep it for a bit then sell it and start on another project, or just keep it for ever and a day.... |

Very nice work!!!
obviously the rear box will be pulled back so the hangers on that will need to be re-aligned as well, get the centre box first then shorten the pipe to the box and then cut off and re-weld the brackets.
im only saying this because i made my own exhaust and found this very problem!!! change something and 3 other things need to be changed!!!
Good luck with it tho fella she's coming along nicely |
