Took the electric passenger seat out of the car.
Ripped it all apart and started to fit the leather

Couldn't refit the metal rings that hold the bolster in place so I had to cable tie it instead..... Embarassed

Yeah there is a special tool that does the rings but cable ties should be ok.

Think your right there andy, easy to split open if you have some practice but a pita without the tool to put back together easily.

you don't need to open them - just cut them.

You can get the hog rings from Audi but as said, they're not easy to fit. Cable ties aren't up to the job really

Also I need to sort out a better bracket for the front/cat section and the rear box section.
Dispite this I am well chuffed Very Happy
Car battery is on trickle charge now Wink

Not bad considering I haven't got a garage or a decent lift Laughing Laughing
Thought I would stroll back through this thread for a moment and after looking at the lovely exhaust you have there Mark, I decided it's missing something? It's called a external waste gate, Bez fitted one to his and boy o boy does it make a difference Very Happy

Fancy a trip to blighty with free accomadation? Very Happy You must go out with Bez in that animal of his Laughing

Last time I looked, all 20v UR's S2's, urS4/S6's and RS2's have an external wastegate Wink

I'm sure you guys are referring to an external wastegate pipe (aka, a screamer pipe)? as in the wastegate vents to atmos on it's own as opposed to re-entering the downpipe?

Can only imagine what Bez's car sounds like with one of those on it Shocked

Living? Shocked only just Laughing.

When on day shift I work Monday to Friday 06.45 - 19.30/20.00 and the Sat/Sun 06.00 - 18.00/19.00,

Then switch to late shift, Monday - Friday/Saturday 14.20 - 03.38/04.38.

Get a max of four days off a month (Sat/Sun every other week) or a min of two days (Sun every other week)

This is the first Saturday off I've had in a while.
1½ overtime after 15.03 day shift weekdays and 1½ overtime after 00.38 on weekday lateshift.
Saturday/Sunday is all overtime, 1½ on Saturday up until 8 hours, then double time. Double time all day Sunday.

I'm not complaining, it's hard going but the money is mental..

Hows things is sunny Sweden?

Jase..
Wink
