The heater is controlled by air flow redirection, flushing out the heater matrix is a good plan, if that fails then the control could be out of sync with the flap in the heater box. Are both pipes to the heater hot?

Dunno about the running rich, are all 3 plugs sooty? air leak, faulty O2 sensor, leaky/worn injectors???

Hi all I'm a newbie so forgive me if I get it wrong !!

My TT airbag ecu needs replacing which is going to cost ££££'s

I have had it reset twice by the same people but fault comes back as
"65535- checksum error - ecu defective - unknown subcode intermittent"
So thinking I need a replacement -- Anyone out there have any suggestions please

Unfortunately the chip costs alone from 034 are more than it'd cost for me to build a complete custom ECU setup for it so there's just no point, I think I'll be buying an MS2 in the not too distant future! I'll certainly sign up for a look at the pictures though!

I have a concert chorus (I think) and really don't get any real radio signal...

There was a phone kit fitted, and I was hoping they had messed around with the wiring when fitting that, so I was hopeful when I removed it I would find a loose connection in the back of the head unit...but alas no, it all seems good...

Is this a common problem? any pointers as to where to look? I do get something, the local station does tune in, but not great...radio 1/2/3 are stored, but fade in and out, and it's mostly just "noise"

I am trying to replace them but having problems sourcing 2 new shafts (apperently you cant get cv kits for the 170hps) noone supplies them, and audi have said there is none in the country!!has anyone any ideas?
I've borrowed a friends V reg A4 2.5 tdi quattro sport whilst he's on holiday, with a view to buying it.
Major chief pain is that the car runs out of puff after 2500rpm, but pulls strongly before that. I suspect a fuel pressure, or turbo issue.
The car is going into a local garage on Tuesday to get a wheel bearing replaced and I'd like to go in there with a few suggestions regarding the power issues.
Again, it pulls strongly till around 2500rpm, then it falls flat.....

Any ideas?

Hello
I am sadly putting my cab up for sale due to family changes.
I have had the car now for years and it has never let me down.
Bad points first
Some scraches on the bottom of the passenger door (from a slide in the snow) the picture has been taken from the near side so if you cant see it then that shows how bad it is.
The rear screen is now getting more cloudy then it was when I bought the car, but still much clearer than other I have seen.
I have no history with the car as i bought it from a family who's son had died (it was his car) and I did not feel it was right to be pushing for things like that at the time...
Good points
Paint beyond the above is in very good condition in black metalic, as is the rest of the car, I have always spent as was necessary to keep the car in good condition as I have been using it every day.
Interior is half leather also in good condition no burns etc.
Engine runs very well and there are no rattles or squeaks.
Mileage is currently 120000 I bought the car with 72k on so it was a low mileage and even now it is not too high for the age.
This is only a quick run down on the car to see if there is any interest.
I would like to see £1200.

I have been trying to upload pictures but have failed please message me and I will forward
a couple.
